I. Love. IKEA.

I am legit fascinated by the PP who’s eating freaking rainbow trout in a furniture store. But not in a judgey way. It makes me want to try it.

The new Dunkin Donuts at Reagan has excellent espresso drinks. I don’t normally drink iced coffee, but their iced Americano with a little half and half is superb.

Holiday Inn Express - clean, coffee 24/7, and breakfast, and there’s one at every exit!
Waffle House- I want to work at one when I grow up
Buc ee’s - not sure how to describe it, went to one for the first time last week and still trying to absorb everything in there 😀
One downer- Moon Pies from the gas stations aren’t nearly as good as the ones I remember growing up.

Fudge, warm nuts and ceramic eagle statues.

Anonymous wrote:I just returned from Dollar Tree with a few 2 for $1.25 gift bags, holiday theme Sour Patch Kids for DC’s stocking and a 2-pack of Scotch tape, also $1.25.

I had lunch at Panera (tomato soup and Asian sesame chicken salad, which I was excited to see has rejoined the menu) and it was yummy.

Thanks to the OP who started this thread.

Damn. Now I need this for lunch tomorrow. You’re a bad influence, PP!

Had to buy a pair of jeans from Walmart in small town PA. They are the best fitting and most comfortable all cotton jeans. I am home now and can’t find them online!

Sorry, I just can't get on board with Olive Garden. Those breadsticks come frozen and taste that way, their food is bland and mediocre. I just hate it.

Now, if you want to sing the praises of the biscuits at Red Lobster, I'm ready to be your choir girl!

Yes!! Can’t stand the rest of their menu, but LOVE their biscuit breakfast sandwiches!

Hampton Inn is the best road trip hotel there is. Almost always clean and newish - that’s all I need. And slow cooked oatmeal for breakfast.

Arby’s is perfectly fine fast food. I don’t know why it gets so much hate.

Log Cabin syrup is better than most real maple syrup.

Culver’s …. Amazing! Had it last year for the first time and it was delicious.

Also, I had Golden Corral once when I was with my husband and young kids in an area with not a lot of other choices and it was perfect… I still think about that meal 15 years later!

Another low brow things I prefer: drugstore makeup for most things is sufficient.

We love Hampton Inn, Olive Garden, and McDonald’s breakfast. Also love Embassy Suites and Holiday Inn Express. Enjoy Cracker Barrel too! Breakfast all day or good southern food.

I treat myself to CFA breakfast once a month. Chicken biscuit and a vanilla iced coffee. YUM.

I know this is not a thread for whining, but as someone who is NOT a morning person, why aren't the mini chicken biscuits available in the afternoon? They are so delicious and delightful, especially when accompanied by a Sunjoy made with unsweet tea, diet lemonade and extra crunchy ice.

I also love Hampton Inn, Outback, and a good lazy river.
