Are some of these people secretly harboring some ideology that they know deep down inside the majority of people would find wrong? And Trump is signaling to them, they don't have to be ashamed of it anymore.

I think it's ridiculous that she is a hero for slamming people about how she has aged. She was paid money at one time because of her attractive qualities. She did drugs. She damaged her looks. It's not normal aging but hard drugging.

What did she say or do?

I think slamming Markle will make Justine more likeable to some people.

I just went on her Instagram and read the blurb about Meghan.

I guess she is trying to get people to read her sub sack… I couldn’t be bothered to click on it with the blurb she wrote. Basically, she wishes Megan well in her endeavors, but she doesn’t think they’ll be successful because they’re playing the victim Olympics or something. A little puzzling to me how we make the leap from reading what Justine Bateman thinks about Meghan Markle. I’d be shocked if there is a big audience there.

She’s also asking Trump and musk for $100 million to start some film endeavor. I guess like a conservative film company. She says she has the contacts and the vision. Does anyone think Justine Bateman has Hollywood contacts? She has not worked in the industry in decades.

She is sounding kind of desperate and delusional.

But why couldn’t Justine say what she wanted? She gave up an acting career decades ago. She married a very wealthy real estate mogul, became a mom, and has moved onto other endeavors outside of entertainment. I love her messaging about embracing natural aging. I even purchased her book, Face, which was not as good as I hoped but I do admire the message.

I just don’t see her being silenced or being afraid to speak because she can’t get roles.

Well so what? 90% of my friends are liberal (at least they purport to be) and I voted for Trump. And no, they aren’t aware that I did. I had to pretend to be devastated that Trump won. And for those of you who are prone to attack me for lying. This entire thread is evidence as to why I (and many others) do.

I'd rather people lie. At least then, it shows they are embarrassed and know it is not right or sensible to support a fascist. People who are outwardly proud of it are lunatics.

Embarrassing behaviour should be hidden as shame is what you feel when you know you did wrong. The fact that nowadays it earns a tiktok account or show on FOX network is what contributes to America's decline. Being proud of idiocy and nonsense is the true embarrassment.

There are probably people in your circle who voted for Trump who just don’t talk about it. I did, and I haven’t said one thing on social media about it.

And I don’t think she’s a conservative. I think she, like many of us, isn’t happy with the direction the Democratic Party has been going. The left has turned into a woke echo chamber that leaves many of us traditionally left-leaning folks feeling politically homeless.
