So you delight in being smug about your win and continuing to "own the libs" on an anonymous message board? Does that sound mature to you? I'm pretty sure your parents taught you as a kid that when you won a competition or a game, it wasn't right to lord it over the kids who didn't win, even if you secretly felt superior to them. When Dems won in the past, my first thought was not to run to an anonymous message board and "own" some conservatives--I just felt relieved. The perverse pleasure MAGAs take in taunting the losing side of the recent election tells me that it's more about the game than the anything else.

It’s bc they only feel joy by taking away from others.

Magas are angry, when they lose, angry when they win and they are just unhappy people.

As I figured, no examples of angry MAGA posts yet many of us telling you flat out that we’ve been really happy since the election.

+100 The only anger I see are from liberals melting down over their loss. The mentally unwell libs are posting videos online about how they are divorcing their spouses because they voted for Trump, threatening violence, shaving their heads etc.

But we aren’t melting down? At least not IRL. Everyone who did melt down in 2016 is like “oh well, you all voted for this madness.” Don’t base your opinion on TikTok.

Depends on how one defines “meltdown.”

How does everyone view the march opposing the election result? I am thinking specifically of the self-titled Women’s March, which is scheduled to be repeated on January 20th?

As an advocate of freedom of expression (all expression), it is right, correct, and constitutional for this march to go forward. This is unquestionable.

However, those who are not attending are likewise entitled to expression of their opinion of the march.

Your thoughts?

A) never heard of it
B) this thread is about angry MAGA not angry dems. Start another thread unless…. You want to talk about how some march no one is talking about makes you ( as a MAGA) angry

I've seen a ton of vitriol from the right on DCUM.

+1. The FCPS post about parenting being hopeful deportations will help their kids academically and help school scores is the most depressing DCUM post ever.

Are you referring to this thread?

https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/195/1240330.page#28816461

I have only read parts of it, but I am not seeing anything depressing posted there.

If you call being angry doing the Trump dance (taking professional sports by storm) then I would love to see what one defines as a happy.

I think it’s fair to call J6 a pretty big meltdown

We aren't melting down. You keep posting garbage to get an angry reaction but instead you are getting a response of FAFO, good luck, and that we will watch this crash without lifting a finger to help you and THAT pisses you off. You so desperately want a reaction from us but we just don't care about you at all. Bye Karen.

You mean: legacies.

Isn’t it 30% legacy admits ?

Harvard was 28% legacy admits for the class of 2019.

The Harvard class of 2025 is 15.5% legacy admits.

oh that's great news!!!
