But keep in mind: the mandate is clear. Trump won the popular vote. "Unity" will not be defined as consensus governing to accommodate radical Dem policies.
Another Trump voter here. I don’t need any apologies. I just want our country to begin to mend.
Why TF would anyone apologize to Trump voters?
Such a gaslighting abuser comment.

But no, I'm not going to "come together" with people who think that I don't deserve to make healthcare decisions about my own body or think that their right to own an AR 15 is more important than my and my children's right to not get randomly shot in public.
I'm sorry, I just can't "come together" with people who believe those things.
What's the alternative? Fight them? Despise them? Deplore them?
How will any of those options improve things?
My suggestion: talk to them, listen to them, and find areas where you do agree. Find common ground where it exists and gain mutual understanding where it doesn't.
THAT is the path forward to a better nation.

Don't you see that both sides participate in this with vigor and nastiness?

Let’s now put all that behind us and work together, as one nation, to make America a better place; a place our children and grandchildren will be even more proud to call home.
Who’s with me?
Anonymous wrote:Come together and do what, exactly? March in lockstep with the fascists? Never. I can't fathom how anyone could vote for Trump and there is no common ground, just scorched earth.

Must be lovely to be so unaffected by the likely events to come.

Hey, I'm fine. The the sun rose this morning, I have more money than I did yesterday, I'm old enough not to have to worry about abortion, or climate change, I have no kids. It ultimately makes no difference to me. My default is to be kind to everyone. I just find this very sad and a bit alarming as an observer.
But F everyone else. Nice.
Allegedly, 80 million people voted to ‘effed with.
