This kind of reads tone deaf to undecided voters, many people don’t watch SNL. Would have been better going on another show or podcast where undecided or conservatives watch try and plead her case (hopefully talk about policy) to a wide audience. Having a Kumbaya with a select few (not many people watch SNL anymore) of people who are already voting for her is not the way to do it. It is also not the way to solidify her allegedly bringing the country together.

The -ala riff was cute. Loved it!
Agreed - it was adorable and fun and exciting when Kamala was revealed in the mirror. Kamala was a star and she had great chemistry with Maya Rudolph! Loved the -ala bit too.

They’ve done that same mirror sketch for decades, it wasn’t just about Trump.

Meh. Independent here. Not an SNL fan at all. However, like an earlier poster, this made me tear up. It’s the hope that maybe we can get the toxicity of Trump out of our body politic and go back normal politicians who may not be perfect but who can laugh at themselves and put some effort in for all Americans.
Priceless.

She is hitting every swing state down the stretch. She was in GA and NC yesterday. She is in MI today, and PA tomorrow. Obama is in Wisconsin today. Michelle, each of the Walz's and Emhoff are in all of the swing states Thursday to Monday. She had to go from NC to PA last night anyhow, so what is a 15 minute (by plane) detour to NYC? She reached millions of eyeballs with her joy and will reach millions more on social media clips. Meanwhile Trump was rambling on about Hannibal Lechter, STILL not understanding the difference between an insane asylum and a migrant seeking asylum. At least he didn't molest any microphones yesterday.

Do you think she's going on a news show or a podcast at 11:30pm on Saturday night? It was a perfectly reasonable use of that time slot and not that hard to simply stop in NY on her way between campaign events in NC and GA on Saturday and then WI and MI on Sunday. It's a national audience and allows her to show a different side of her personality. Well worth the stop in NY at a time when few other voters are up or receptive to a campaign argument.
