As compared to Trump, who can't remember the word "fryer" when describing his work at McD's? HA ha ha ha ha.

OP, your enthusiasm is appreciated, but if the candidate doesn't have it, how can we?

This week:
Vice President Kamala Harris and former Rep. Liz Cheney on Monday wrapped up a series of moderated conversations in Wisconsin, where they continued to make the case that Donald Trump is unfit for the presidency.

On Tuesday, she will record an interview with NBC’s Hallie Jackson at 3:40 p.m. ET in Washington, D.C. At 4:30 p.m., the Democratic nominee will tape an interview with Telemundo’s Julio Vaqueiro.

Harris will travel to Pennsylvania on Wednesday and participate in a CNN Town Hall event in Chester Township, just outside of the Philadelphia metropolitan area.

On Thursday, the vice president will be in Georgia for a campaign rally, joined by former President Barack Obama

Harris is expected to visit Texas on Friday to attend a campaign event in Houston focusing on abortion rights and rally with Rep. Colin Allred, D-Texas plus recording Berne Brown’s podcast.

Are you kidding me? It's 13 days before the election and all she is doing today is two short interviews?

This is nothing.

And tomorrow, one CNN Town Hall event? Why not a rally in Philly?

This is not only worrisome; it's signaling that she is just phoning it in.

I think you are wrongly assuming that she’s given up. Maybe this is all that she is capable of doing? That would also be worrying.

If you're right, that's beyond worrying. It's downright terrifying.

Still finding it hard to believe that someone in the campaign felt it necessary to put Liz Cheney on a stage. You’d think they would have figured out by now that yelling about January 6 doesn’t bring in new voters…the ones who still get excited about J6 are already on your side.

Ok hotshot. What does bring in new voters? Please enlighten us with your detailed analysis.

What is that? Be specific. And then explain how that will attract more votes. Trump is literally running on grievance, concepts of a plan, and deportation of POCs.

Ok, so that’s like one event per travel day, with the exception of the last day, where she does 2 events.

That’s not nearly enough. He’s doing 2-3 travel events a day, with interviews in between.

She’s acting like she’s not really interested in winning. I don’t understand it, or her motivation here.

It’s worrisome.

Everything that I have read about Harris’s management style as Veep indicates someone who is very high maintenance. This is most likely an intentional schedule either requested by her or decided by her team to maximize her performance and limit her exposure. Effectively to stage manage her, which has been a strong theme of her campaign.

She needs a lot of time to prep for interviews.

PP again. I get that, but why do interviews at all? I did just read that she declined Joe Rogan, so I think that's a good move.

She's clearly better at group events and rallies. I don't understand why she's not barnstorming the swing states like Trump is. She could easily do a couple of rallies each day in each swing state and that would do a lot to energize her campaign.

I seriously don't understand this decision.

In retrospect it was probably a lot to expect of her to go from three years of low activity VP idleness to suddenly being thrust in the starring role and constantly campaigning. Three months in, she looks exhausted. And she’s looking at early voting numbers that look mostly bad.

She was around Biden for years; she could see what was happening to him. If she wasn’t prepared to step in and hit the ground running it’s a massive strike against her.

Next time, you should have a real candidate, and not one who led a failed coup, has multiple felonies, divided the country in his Covid response (and everything else), and goes on senile, hateful rants.

For those of us who tried to ensure this happened and failed, please tell us what we can do next time to hamstring the crazies in our own party?

You need what I’ve heard call “the hamburger from heaven.”

I would not trust "the voters" to do this, in general. I'm OK with how Harris was chosen as the Democratis nominee. But then again, I'm OK with candidates being chosen at the conventions, not by popular vote.

+1,000,000

-GOP woman from above, who is really disillusioned by primary voters

If voters unaffiliated with either party can vote in primaries, then it becomes a popularity contest, not a vote for comptence.

In states where party registration wasn't required, the GOP primaries were closer/more sane than in states where it was.

That should tell you a lot about voters registered as Republicans.

She doesn't need the ego salve Trump gets from the smiling sycophants at his mindless, contentless rallies

No, but she does need the VOTES.

You have no idea what you're talking about, PP. If this is how you're sleeping at night, OK, but we're all in for a big shock if she doesn't pick up the pace.
