Because that’s what VA is doing. They are only removing voters who have been identified as non-citizens and haven’t responded to verify their citizenship.

President Biden address this already, very early in his term. It’s right in a White House transcript. Yes. Youngkin had 2 1/2 years as governor to legally undertake this project t to purge voter roles. He waited until right before the election instead— which does violate VA law. Youngkin is so serious about this and considers it such a problem that he ignored it for more than 2 years. The cooling off period serves a purpose. And, there is zero reason Youngkin couldn’t have done this a year ago if he suspected a significant number of illegal voters. This is straight out voter suppression and intimidation of American citizens who seem like they might be noncitizen immigrants.

How many illegal voters were convicted of voting or trying to vote in 2021? I know it’s si blue digits. And I know one such illegal voter was Youngkin’s son.

It would be nice if Republicans at least tried to win without cheating and disenfranchising legal voters.
