Totally disagree. The 2nd beer is never anywhere close to as good. “One and done”

What's being satisfied or quenched by the beer and shouldn't a Gatorade do the same? I thought sports drinks were to restore electrolytes. Or maybe a beer somehow restores electrolytes even better? I'm not suggesting he's drinking a single beer to get drunk. It's just always seemed so odd and I don't understand it.

He just likes it. It tastes good and the carbonation is refreshing. What's hard to understand?

Do you go around mystified by everyone's simple preferences and pleasures when you can't personally relate?

This is the answer.

Your husband has a drinking problem and you should protect yourself and children (if any) from his monstrous behavior.

Is that what you wanted to hear, OP?

If so, I hope it sounds as ridiculous when you read this as it does to me actually typing it.

What fūcking planet do you have to be on to be concerned about someone drinking 1 beer occasionally?

The only thing better than having a beer after mowing the lawn is having 2 beers.
