My surgeon is doing a study with a few academics about the Dobbs abortion decision and how its playing into decisions to get vasectomies. It was a pretty interesting survey they asked me to fill out as part of my follow-up.
As abortion gets outlawed across states we should expect vasectomies to increase. If they can ever get a male oral or injectable contraception to market, it will be a game changer in those states.

Why would I get one? A woman is just as accountable as me. She can have BC and we use protection . I’m not going to cut myself and prevent me from having kids because she wants to raw dog? Lol

Interesting. But then again means men can't control their urges. If they found a partner to marry and not sleep around they wouldn't be so worried.

I mean why not give the second wife the kid? I am the first wife.
I think the guy (my ex) is actually a catch. In about three years, he doesn’t need to spend a lot of time with our teens. I don’t think it is a crazy idea.
Women do most of the work in the early years anyway. And 50s is when the man’s business takes off and rakes in the revenue. Just saying that is what happens.
I don’t think I would care that much, as long as he is kept busy and keeps the checks coming.
Why did you guys get divorced?

I actually think that wives should be able to decide if and when their spouses get vasectomies. Most abortions are gotten by married women. I wonder how many of those women were married to idiots who were "too scared" to get a vasectomy. I think when men get married, they should forfeit their rights over their own body. Their wives, if they want them to, should be able to decide if he gets a vasectomy or not. If abortion can be illegal, then women, who bear 99% of the weight involved in pregnancy and childrearing, should be able to force their partners to have vasectomies.
