24 hours fever/vomit/diarrhea free basically. It was like this before COVID and people somehow continued to go on with life.
Also many viruses are contagious before symptoms appear and the hypothetical COVID positive kid without symptoms is likely not even testing. We aren’t going back to masking kids just in case they become sick or doing surveillance testing. If you’re worried, you are free to use a quality N95.
Sure, and you're probably also triggered by other people wearing masks. Can't win.
Nope. I literally DGAF if someone wants to wear a mask. It doesn’t affect me at all. I support people making that choice for their bodies. How self centered do you have to be to think everyone is triggered by your mask?
I'm responding to the crazies on here who literally show they are triggered by a mask.
Ok but you literally responded to my post by claiming “sure” and accusing me of being triggered by masks. It’s such a knee jerk reaction, but the reality these days is that the majority of people have resumed pre-COVID life and they aren’t crazy anti makers. We took precautions during the pandemic. My household is vaxxed and has gotten boosters. I don’t even blink if someone is out in a mask. And also we are not testing for COVID and are back to following the normal school illness policy like we did pre 2020.
If you're not testing for Covid when you have Covid like symptoms and are going out and about then you are willfully spreading illness and you don't care about others.
“COVID like symptoms” can be anything from mild cold symptoms to a headache to gastro issues to fatigue and so on. So no, my family is not taking a COVID test for every symptom. There are 5 people in my house and at any given time one person may have some sniffles or a headache or be feeling tired or wake up with a scratchy throat or whatever.
Also the few times we caught an incidental diagnosis back when testing was required the symptoms were almost nothing. None of us has even gotten a fever from it. I’ve had worse seasonal allergies. So there is nothing that would even tip me off that it might be COVID.
If someone in my household does get a fever or have significant symptoms then they stay home for a few days anyway. What is the point of testing then?
