So many dishes are easy to modify or to offer with options. For example, chicken shawarma + cauliflower and red peppers shawarma, or regular noodles + squash or zucchini pastas w/ meatballs served separately from marinara sauce (or take some marinara out before dropping the meatballs in the sauce. Some of my small group events include some really complicated eaters such as a vegetarian who can’t eat most vegetables. Last time I hosted his family, I made a Spanish tortilla with several accompaniments that people could pick and choose from. Another time I made crepes with several filling options.
