Why? All senators do is cast votes. You don’t need special experience to do that. JD Vance had no political experience whatsoever, yet no one claimed he was unprepared for the senate.

I'm a Dem who I voted for Hogan in his second term. I won't even consider voting for him this time around. Control of the Senate is too important to a Harris Presidency's agenda.
So you don’t care at all what happens to Maryland. Got it.
Alsobrooks will clueless and useless in the Senate. She won’t represent us at all.
Hogan has a proven record and will be the better representative, who knows and cares about Maryland.
Nope!Anonymous wrote:Hogan can definitely pull this off. It’s actually better for him if Harris is able to pull away from Trump a little in the polls. There are many people who would gladly vote for Hogan but are reluctant to add another Republican to the Senate with Trump as president. If it looks like Trump will lose, he could be the winner in this race. I prefer Hogan, but I understand the reluctance to add a Republican to the Senate if Trump wins.

I don’t even understand what was so great about him as a governor. He sank the red line and made the purple line worse and directed development towards his properties and wasted billions.
And did he do anything positive for Maryland’s economy or business development and I missed it or something? Or is helping himself enough? This is what passed for governance for Republicans? Is our bar so low? If Trump hadn’t been President Hogan’s shenanigans would have gotten more attention. Never mind the extreme right Republican agenda. No reason to vote for Hogan.

It’s interesting that Jeff Flake is considered “anti-Trump” because he voted to confirm Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. And Kavanaugh voted to overturn Roe v Wade. This is *exactly* what we can expect with Larry Hogan in the senate.
