I get more of a Steve Martin look/vibe from him. But he's got that salt of the earth, happy warrior thing going and can totally relate to rural voters.

I’m a Minnesotan and I’m super jazzed about Walz as the pick.
I’m a moderate and I think his personality is a breath of fresh air.
Same poster. I suspect the hate isn’t from moderates but from more establishment east coast Dems who wanted a more establishment east coast Dem pick.
Also, I’m curious about why Kelly didn’t make the cut. Walz may not have been the first choice.

The fact that the Harris campaign bought this BS line (and that they think they are going to win PA without Shapiro sounds like it weighed heavily on their logic) portends very bad things for their decision making up to Election Day.
And he might've lost the youth vote and Michigan and depressed turnout by progressives (and those against vouchers). Let's not pretend that "delivering" PA might be enough. He's got plenty of baggage and the cons would've questioned his loyalties and why he volunteered for the IDF and not the U.S. military. Every headline between now and the election involving the Middle East would've brought attention to this.

Shapiro wants to be president one day so he’s going to work his butt off to get Harris elected.
