His story doesn’t even make sense. On a day when he was falconing, meeting friends for dinner, and catching a flight, he thought he’d find the time to skin a dead bear cub he’d happened upon? He was interested in the meat, but left it unrefrigerated in his car for many hours? His way of hiding something that wasn’t a crime was to stage a fake bike collision? Even his staging was dumb. If you hit and killed a bear on your bicycle, why would you flee on foot and leave your bike behind? Every part of this story shows terrible judgment and very questionable behavior.

He has used lots of drugs and has shown he's callous towards human life (see what he did to his second wife) and animals. Just the kind of guy you want with the keys to the nuclear codes.

The guy is bonkers but his stance is one I want in a candidate:

Kennedy’s views are heterodox. He inveighs against the American “war machine,” opposing military aid to Ukraine, but supports Israel’s war in Gaza. He is pro-choice and also wants to “seal” the southern border.

And I am skeptical of big pharma and do think COVID came from a Chinese lab. I am pro immigrant but in an orderly and controlled way. And there is too much fentanyl is pouring across the border. I don’t think COVID vaccines should have ever been mandatory, and I especially don’t think my teenage sons should have had to be vaccinated to play sports or go to college. And I am hugely concerned about the environment, and don’t understand how certain chemicals and additives are banned in European food but allowed here.

So the article points out he is nutty, but after reading the article it makes me think well maybe he is my kind of nutty.

Does the bear incident overlap with the worm in his brain and/or the mercury poisoning?

For a moment I thought this said dead bear club instead of dead bear cub. I guess anyone that still votes for him can be in the club.

I’m aware that people are allowed to take roadkill so long as it’s tagged (we passed a deer once that was still kicking and since my dad hadn’t bagged a dear that season, he called the sheriff who dispatched it and we took it home. I have never felt more country in all my life) but who would go, yeah, I’m gonna take that roadkill, time of death undetermined, and I’m going to put it in my car and deal with it later. she knew what she was marrying. He cheated on his 1st wife and dumped her for 2nd wife who committed suicide. The New Yorker article talks about how he gaslighted his 2nd wife before she died, made it difficult for her to get medical treatment and then exhumed her body from the cemetary to move it further away from others. i found the parts of the new yorker article about RFK's drug and sex additction and mistreatment of women even more shocking than the bear stuff (which is to be sure shows horrible judgement for a 60 year old man)

My takeaway from the New Yorker article is that RFK Jr is like Trump but with more drugs and pseudoscience. Both are overprivilieged narcissists with a loose relationship with the truth and everything they touch dies.
