I've always cared more for local elections as they affect my day-to-day more than POTUS.

I'm looking forward to the 2025 VA Governor Race and may become politically active - which I'm usually not. But this race in VA will be extremely close and while I voted for Harris, I've been happy with Youngkin and want another R Governor for VA...but let's see how Earle-Sears and Spanberger run their platforms..I'm open to Spanberger if she runs a more moderate platform. But if Spanberger starts to support any of the extreme far-left political policies and values I will find it extremely hard to vote for her.

I hate how extreme the far-right is too...but if I have to pick between two extremes I'd rather have extreme right.

What's the term? Final placement? Sears is already at a position for which she is unqualified.

So 4 years as vice president makes someone qualified for president, but 4 years of lieutenant governor does not mean that someone is qualified to become governor? That seems like a double standard and inconsistent based on party identification alone. They are either both qualified or not qualified. But don't tell me that Harris is qualified and then say Sears is not.
