Also, their inability to look outside the box is astounding. Sara sander’s actually said God wasn’t done with trump yet and intervened. Hmmmm, so God was up there instead saying, ‘let’s take out the firefighter’. It’s baffling that anyone would vote for this trumpian party.
Look at most of the essentially off topic replies to your thread. Republicans no longer think straight and their speech and voting reflect it.
They also lie like it’s oxygen. They know full that they’ve used violent imagery; they don’t care. They’re betting that most of the violence will be used against Democrats and people with less power and that’s why they do it.
Trump shot. Scalise shot. Rand Paul assaulted. Death threats against conservative SCOTUS judges. Biden telling donors to put Trump “in the bullseye”. And you still think this is a problem only on the right? Open your eyes.
Trump was shot by a Republican.
Which doesn't make any sense. Have you noticed none of what we've heard about this guy makes sense? And that law enforcement can't get his phone open, since it has a password? Given how anomalous all the details are, and the catastrophically incompetent actions of the USSS, I'm not accepting the official narrative that the shooter was a quiet 20 year old guy with no social media or internet presence but was a Republican who tried to assassinate Trump. That makes no sense at all.

Why did you leave Gabby Gifford out? Why did you leave out Trump’s call for 2nd A people to step up and deal with Hillary Clinton? How about Trump’s urging of his supporters to go attack the capitol on January 6? Why didn’t you mention the police who lost eyes and fingers on that day, the ones who suffered trauma and took their own lives afterwards? Why didn’t you mention Officer Swicklick who had a fire extinguisher thrown at his head and later suffered a stroke and died? Why didn’t you mention all the death threats that the Georgia poll workers encountered after Giuliani demonized them?
Why?

But it’s not just trump. Look at all the intolerance by democrats now. How often have you heard that people are afraid to say their opinion because they will be hated? Intolerated? Lose their job? Be ostracized?
The intolerance of the left is angering moderates.
This +100

I think Haley said it best as to why independent voters are leaning Trump: “We agree more often than we disagree.”
Because they care about any of the following:
Women, environment, democracy, LGBTQ, workers, POC, rule of law, economy, not living in a theocracy, etc.
The rule of law? Have you driven a car or gone for a walk outside in DC in the last few years? Did you notice the assassination attempt on Saturday? The threats by Iran?
The democratic record on so-called women’s rights is atrocious.
+1
The rule of law to democrats means them making the rules to do what they want.
From doing away with the electoral college to expanding SCOTUS or term limits, they never want to work within our agreed upon framework when an election cycle doesn’t go their way. It’s always a demolishing of our current system to get their way.

Jack Black ends Tenacious D tour after bandmate’s Trump shooting comment

The comedy rock duo Tenacious D — made up of Jack Black and Kyle Gass — has canceled the rest of their tour after Gass’ remarks about the assassination attempt on Donald Trump.
While onstage at a concert in Sydney on Sunday, Gass was presented with a birthday cake and asked to “make a wish” by Black. Gass responded, “Don’t miss Trump next time,” an apparent reference to the rally shooting a day before that left the former president with an injured ear. The video of Gass was widely circulated on social media.
“I was blindsided by what was said at the show on Sunday. I would never condone hate speech or encourage political violence in any form,” Black said in a Tuesday statement on Instagram. “After much reflection, I no longer feel it is appropriate to continue the Tenacious D tour, and all future creative plans are on hold. I am grateful to the fans for their support and understanding.”
Following Black’s statement, Gass apologized on Instagram.
“The line I improvised Sunday night in Sydney was highly inappropriate, dangerous and a terrible mistake,” he wrote Tuesday. “I don’t condone violence in any kind, in any form, against anyone. What happened was a tragedy, and I’m incredibly sorry for my severe lack of judgement.”
