Things change, Democrats have more in common with ivory tower, free trade, globalists now. Than they do with the blue collar working citizen.

Great example from the 1850s. Most of the rights that workers enjoy today were established by Democrats within the past 100 years. What have Republicans done for workers lately? What will they do in the future? Gut unions and social security?


If you think that the example was only from 174 years ago you don’t know much about pre-2010 Democrats who were long serving.

Yeah, pick up a book. If it were up to Republicans, people would be working 14 hour days, they would have no leave or vacation or Social Security, and 8 year olds would be working in factories under horrific working conditions.
