It's only like 6 degrees higher than our normal summer temps. You're a wimp. Or you like the idea of summer, but not actually.

Are you mentally deficient that you can't understand not every human being is like you, with the same preferences? That is a real condition, having a brain that does not let you imagine other people as separate human beings with their own thoughts, tastes and personalities. So sorry you struggle with that.

Nope. I'm from the scorching midwest where summers are both hot and humid and always hated it. The only reason I'm in DC is because my job transferred me here.

Love the winter and can't wait to someday move up to Vermont.

I’m willing to bet that’s the common theme here- fatties. Hot weather is a lot tougher on people with more girth. They have a much smaller mass-to-surface-area ratio, so they can’t shed metabolic heat as quickly as fit people can. So they really ARE hotter in hot weather, because they simply cannot shed excess heat.

I love the summer! So much easier to throw a bathing suit on than a ton of winter clothes! I actually dislike a ton of AC that is pumped into stores and houses since I am freezing all the time. We spend every afternoon at the pool and are having a blast. Great way to release energy for the kids, early dinner and then chill out before bed!
