On the left, people don't like racism, authoritarianism and the stripping of rights for people. That is their outrage.

I think if you actually read the linked articles you might see things differently. If not please post a link to the many studies you know about showing conservatives are happier. Or even one.

It’s consistently true in studies. Conservatives are, on average, happier than liberals, even when controlling for wealth, income, etc.

Or you can start here where there is evidence that conservatives are more likely to PROCLAIM they are happy while "liberals are more likely to provide clues indicating they are experiencing actual joy"

“Self-reports of happiness and life satisfaction ... are susceptible to self-enhancing distortions,” they write in the journal Science. “Our studies found that political liberals exhibited more frequent and intense happiness-related behavior than political conservatives.”
