Steakasaurus for steak. I don’t remember if this started with my dad trying to troll me or if I independently randomly decided we were having stegosaurus for dinner during my dinosaur phase but it stuck to this day.

Here's one for my childhood. We used to call hair ties owies because my little sister hated getting her hair put up in a ponytail. Even to this day they're still owies owies. We also used to have a family code word of rutabaga if somebody was teasing you too hard and even that one's lived on
