I worked in South Asia for a few years. Many local people do not wear deodorant. I will never forget the overpowering reek of BO in shops and on streets. If I ever had any doubts that deodorant worked, these were firmly quashed after living among people who didn't wear deodorant. Deodorant works and there is a reason we use it.
