Subject: Is there a school like Yale (size, liberal arts, residential, east coast) but with 25% admission rate?
^^^^. Look at the cds! 17% and 34% respectively. But very different for male and female applicants. Like everywhere else the ED numbers do not necessarily apply to unhooked applicants

Vassar is Yale's former sister college. That's as close to Yale you can get. Not sure whether Vassar has a residential system.
Vassar's acceptance rate is well below 25%.
Google suggests it’s about 20% overall but ED close to 40%. Haven’t run the numbers myself but our public has good luck with Vassar at ED1.
