Number of slots is not the number accepted. They factor in the yield rate, so the acceptance is likely 3x or more the number of slots.
Penn State’s yield rate is 19% (so they would accept 5x the number of slots) but I will assume maybe it is higher for Smeal.
So people make decisions on their kids potential school using yield rate as a factor?
