Shrug. Many people felt that Nancy Pelosi's arguments rang hollow, while Winston Marshal's rang true. Clearly you have a different opinion, and that's fine.
I guess Marshal's comments might make sense to people who only have a broken and flawed understanding of things. Marshal, like many on the right, seem to think that the anarchist black bloc and Antifa in Portland are "Democrats" or "progressives" and that they are somehow aligned with people like Pelosi and the Democrats. That's untrue and has been for years. The same groups protested WTO in the 1990s. They protested against Obama policies in the Occupy movement. They disrupted a Biden speech and other Democrat events. They protested against the Democratic mayor of Portland and tried attacking him.
They do not support Democrats, and Democrats do not support them.
While there are some slivers of superficial ideological alignment such as social justice and reducing police brutality, there are many chasms of deep ideological disjoint and divide, for example the anarchists want capitalism abolished. Democrats do not. Democrats are statists, whereas Antifa and the black bloc want the state dismantled. Democrats want police reforms like better training and accountability, whereas the black bloc wants police eliminated outright. Democrats believe in change through elections, legislation and policy, whereas the black bloc doesn't care about those and seeks change through direct action - violence and property destruction. Those are serious and deep divides. Democrats universally reject the violence of the black bloc and Pelosi and others have repeatedly denounced them.
But if you, like Marshal seems to, only ever followed conservative sources, you would never understand those important differences, as conservative media routinely just indiscriminately smears these two very different groups together as if they were all one monolithic bloc, which is why his comments would somehow "make sense" to you even if in reality they make no sense whatsoever.
