You can still do this.

They don’t carry nearly as many hardback/paperback books and certain areas, like mystery, rarely have new books on the shelf. They are spending their money on audio and kindle type books instead. Plus, they aren’t buying those, they rent them. So, it’s hard to find books that are a few years old unless they are popular.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:I miss going to the library and browsing the stacks.
Why don't you do this now?

At my DD college graduation 5 people from one family in front of us were all filming the whole time with tablets We could not see around them and...the ceremony was posted on line the same day. Let the pros do it. Just enjoy the day.
Same with music concerts. They're a sea of blue cell phone screen lights. Do all these concertgoers think they'll create a better recording than the professionals.

You can read a paper newspaper with your morning cuppa, AND do step-aerobics (you Youtube, but maybe you can find an in-person class somewhere).
Young adult kids? At 44?
Dp;
I had 2 young adult kids at 44.
When I turned 45 had a 3 month old, 4 year old and a 7 year old. Pretty normal unless Amish or Mormon.
