Well, I track my teen sons...it helps psychologically MY anxiety.

I only look at it when I call/text them and they don't respond. My teens don't mind.

Yes they do mind.

I don't. But I have a history of OCD, so this would be compulsive behavior on my end.

I have find my for both my kids. For my older kid, I have used it often but only for lost devices. My younger kid doesn't lose things.

I don't use it for things like figuring out if my kids are home, because I want my kids to learn how to communicate, but if my kid stopped responding, and I was concerned, I'd turn it on.

Before the two of us start to fool around, we’ll check to make sure DS isn’t like a block away from home and about to burst through the door. Pretty damn useful.

We have find my setup wirh DH, DD 16 and DS 14. I rarely use it. No notifications pr anything, just for emergencies. My youngest walks to school and don’t even takes his phone so tracking would be useless.

I track his backpack because he’s a space cadet and loses it! But I only track him lately when I’m giving him more freedom to navigate the neighborhood alone. It’s a bit of a crutch but it’s helping me push him out of the nest.

I have never tracked my three children, and have no intention of ever doing so

We don't. My husband felt really strongly about this.

As the kids near adulthood, seems like they have not gotten in any worse trouble than the kids who were tracked every second.

When my siblings & I were teens, we absolutely had to tell my mom where we’d be and who we were with. I think it’s insane to just worry about what time the kid gets home but have no idea where they are or what they’re doing in the meantime.

I don’t track any of my 3 kids. I never have. 2 are in college and one in HS
