Presumably she just threw up into the toilet.

Hiring a cleaner or sending flowers or whatever would just take an unfortunate situation into extremely weird territory

She didn't barf all over the bathroom. Come on now. When friends spill wine on your floor, or poo in your toilet, or drop chocolate cake on your carpet, do you expect them to hire a cleaner?

And how do you get a cleaner to just do a bathroom?

Trust me .most NORMAL people would feel like they are dealing with insanity if the OP sent over a cleaner.

OP, if you’d done this at my house, I’d have assured you that I’ve been there too and there’s nothing to apologize for! The more important thing is how you’re doing otherwise - sounds like a lot on your plate. I hope things look brighter soon.
