People will make time for what they want.

The guys I know who do this call it “dusting”. Basically you go days without talking to the girl then “dust” them with a compliment like “I’ve been thinking of you” or “just wanted to tell you that you are beautiful” etc.. then go another several days without talking to them. Then might say something like “I’ve been so busy-and just dying to see you! Dinner Saturday?” Then when the girl responds all enthusiastically you just say nothing, let Saturday some and go without confirming/making real plans and then they say something like “I have just a couple hours of free time tonight-and I want to spend it with you” and then of course this one they follow through with because it’s guaranteed you know what. Basically they got it easy without having to do any real work. The guys I know who do this do it with people they are not actually interested in dating but wouldn’t mind having a night with.

Super common especially in younger guys 18-25ish.

It’s a game 100%. Some women fall for it and keep chasing which is exactly what these men want.

Then you have the other women like myself, who as soon as the first signs of game playing are shown-are out. I find the amount of women who will deal with these kind of games go down as they get older. Meaning, a 25 year old might put up with this crap, but a 40 a year old certainly isn’t.

We have divorced friends who are on tinder. Seems pretty common. They are single and have kids.
