Also a GW grad and our DC chose from among the same schools. Chose VT for their National Security and Foreign Affairs major and is double majoring in a critical language. Fantastic experience. Other majors there in the Department of Political Science:

It’s like a 60%+ acceptance rate for that major @ VT. Jobs are especially scarce right now and the credentialism is still off the charts when it comes to hiring. Gtown students would get a look first and VT would be far down the list. Unless, of course, you have a connection, right?
Better have ILR scores to prove your language capabilities too.
