I disagree that I am missing out. I cook dishes from around the world, and they all turn out great. And yes, I am proud of my cooking skills. No fancy nonsense, just good old-fashioned cooking.

The Meater digital thermometer is amazing for cooking meat perfectly. (It has Bluetooth and connects to an app that measures meat temp, oven temp and tells you exactly how much longer to cook things.). It also so much fun to use.

I don't do smoothies either; I just eat whole fruit.

Wow - umm, do you make cakes and mousses with a hand whisk (or maybe swirling your sharp knife in your Dutch oven)? Sounds fun!
