Entire school system is closed for Eid-al-Fitr and Eid-al-Adha? What are these holidays and what are 180k students supposed to do on these days?
Whatever the Muslim, Jewish and various other religions do on Christmas.
Winter Break is a holiday for everyone. Christmas is not a specific holiday.
Why is the public school system celebrating religious holidays?
If holiday is "popular" enough, they losing the monies when the childrens do no attending the school?
Maybe if 70% do no attend, empty school?

The kids who still need to make things up need it made up via intensive tutoring.

Not sure what the change was for BUT this year the quarter ended right before spring break. Last year they had spring break and then came back for 4 days and then it was end of quarter( which was really wonky.Anonymous wrote:The winter and spring breaks are way too long.
