And I do put on makeup, color my hair, all that prepping stuff, so I’m not against beauty products. Just not those ridiculous lashes.
I agree.
You don't get out much. I spend $400 a month on my lashes. You can't tell. It's a commitment though.
Then why spend $400 on lashes if no one can tell?
By the way, what an enormous waste of money. What is so wrong with your real lashes? $4,800 a year on eyelashes is really sad.
I can tell. They look pretty. I spend a lot on upkeep. I also get my hair and nails done weekly. I make a lot and save a lot. My retirement goals are being met!
It would be a waste of money for you, but not for me. Especially, because I can afford it.

Anonymous wrote:Depends how long. Noticeably long lashes or nails = trashy ho.
Anonymous wrote:When they are done right and not too excessive they can be beautiful. I am a very natural minimal makeup person and sometimes I’ll get them done. When I do I get so many compliments. (Not the lashes specifically. Just telling me I look great ) but I have pretty eyes to begin with, so I am told. And they just dramatically enhance them more than just mascara. But they damage your natural lashes and are expensive and annoying. If they were easier to maintain I would get them all the time.

However, I am self-conscious when somebody is a bit close to me I can feel they’re trying to figure out if I have extensions on.
I don’t care really if they know they’re fake lashes, but do they think I look crazy? Or vain?
Vain. And men don't give a shit or find them to be a turnoff.
Anonymous wrote:You all are only noticing the over the top lashes. Not the people who get lash extensions just to make their lashes look normal. You don't even see those.
I don't wear lash extensions because I'm lazy but I have friends who do and you would never guess it. They look like nice normal lashes with zero mascara clumping because no mascara needed.
