+1 I have a maxi dress that's perfect for flights. I wear it with a sweater. It's more comfortable than any pants and my legs are covered, so I don't get cold.

I have actually cut off the ribbing at the bottom of vuori joggers and hemmed them for travel so they look less sweatpant-ish.

+1 on Vuori joggers, I like the Miles ones bc they're less sweatpant-ish. Paired with a nicer t-shirt plus either a denim jacket or a lightweight jacket from Athleta. Vejas or Nikes as shoes.

Respectfully, these cannot be "dressed up/down." They are athletic tights. There is no way to dress them up. And you can't really dress them down either, they are as down as you get unless the alternative is your husband's boxers or something stained.


DP, but they could be dressed up if you put a dress over them. I can see wearing these with a comfy loose dress on a flight. No way would I wear a dress without something like this under them, as my legs are always freezing on flights. It's like all the air conditioning is aimed at my calves.

I'm not the PP who posted that, but I often wear knee high boots. I don't fly economy so swelling isn't usually an issue, and it's easy to take your boots off when you're in a pod in business/first.

Love that for you. I fly coach, so when I'm on a 12 hour flight, it's all about comfort. I wear leggings or joggers, socks and sneakers, a tank top or tee, button down shirt, and a sweatshirt or hoodie. I've been on some flights that are like ice boxes, so I generally go for lots of layers.

Clearly we have different standards. I wouldn't even pop out for an errand that requires me to be out of the car for more than 5 min in leggings and a t-shirt. I only own 2 t-shirts and I barely wear them. I certainly would never be seen walking around town like that. It's akin to college students wearing PJs to class - wierd.

I wear soft chinos, and a 3/4 sleeve top. Depending on location or season, I might wear a silk sleeveless shirt or carry a cashmere swear. I also normally have a light weight shell in my handbag. I like the patagonia one that scrunches down into it's pocket. This is so I don't get caught out if it rains or the weather changes. It weighs nothing and can fit everywhere. I wear comfortable shoes - still prefer my Vejas - and I don't care if my clothes are dated, as long as they look ok.

They don't look ok; they look dated. You are admitting to wearing "soft chinos" but look down on people wearing tshirs, lol.

I actually just ordered the Vuori. I love my joggers but wanted something different. I hope they are as comfortable as the joggers
