Bowser was the one at the podium with the shirt on, and was relentless over the past few weeks in her efforts. So I give her more credit. Lucas was busy x-ing or tweeting—but yes she deserves credit too since her opposition kept the DC window open.
The hell are you talking about? This deal would be done and dusted if it weren’t for Lucas. She single-handedly stopped it and deserves ALL of the credit.
Leonsis only came back to DC when he realized he had no other option. He even made a last ditch effort to take the teams to Maryland before he finally gave up.
And despite have no bargaining power whatsoever, he managed to secure millions more in funding from DC taxpayers than he would have gotten had Bowser been better organized and gotten the deal done last year.

I agree. She is a fighter and an excellent negotiator. More than Mayor Sharon Pratt Kelly whose halfhearted plans to keep the then Redskins backfired.

I feel like the crime is masking the fact that she is TERRIBLE in 100 different ways. People are just looking at crime and ignoring everything else.
