This is a dress is making her short neck looking even shorter, so not the best detail on her.

Not the most exciting choices, but I thought Kelly Ripa and Kirsten Dunst both looked great too. Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen are definitely the cutest couple. Love them so much.
Kind of hated Florence Pugh (she looked great, the clothes looked cheap) and the Annette Bening pantsuit.

Love Bening's jacket, but the tunic over the flowy pants didn't work even if that is the vibe (dress over pants) at the moment. Think tailored pants with mules could've done it, but perhaps she didn't want to wear heels.
No, I think the flowy pants are essential to the outfit. It is full-on PJs and robe as Oscar wear and I am there for it. If she did tailored pants and mules, it would just be a not-great sparkly outfit. You've got to take it to the wall to make it work--even the "sitting out back reading a magazine" sunglasses are part of the look. I love this for her. She had a great career, married the hottest bad-boy of her generation and kept him for thirty years, had a few good-looking kids, seems like a genuinely nice person, and now she's rocking the most golden of Golden Girls looks. Love it.
Yeah, I totally get what she was going for and think she’s great. Still think the outfit looks like sh!t though.

You can add Florence and Ariana to that list.

Did not like Rita Moreno, though. It was too much for someone so petite.

And I don't know what this is. Reminded me of a Stegosaurus

I also think she should stop wearing so many neutrals especially when she makes her hair so blonde. She looks so washed out. Her face also had a weird Mary Kate Olsen look to it,not sure if that's weight loss or surgery.
I thought overall a pretty good night with most people looking good. I still hate the trend of the deep plunge neckline that looks like a piece was cut out of the middle, and wish that look would die. And, as I say at every awards show, a lot of women looked like their dress needed to be hiked up half on inch over their chest -- the designers seem to often cut it so that it looks like it's about to slip off at any second.
Mary Steenburger and Ted Danson win the prize for couple we'd move like to be/move next to in our older years. They look fabulous and totally comfortable in their own skin. Please no one tell me that they secretly hate each other.
Jamie Lee Curtis also looked great, showing how to do it as a woman of a certain age in Hollywood.
Zendaya wins for best old school glamour.
I wish Emma Stone would not wear her hair like Wednesday Adams. It almost makes her unattractive (an impossible feat). Her dress was fun.
Not a fan of Chris Hemsworth's wife's dress -- looks like something to wear clubbing.
I didn't like Emily Blunt's dress, either. I don't know how you make that woman look washed out and plain, but there you go.
Zendaya is so stunning that it's almost unreal. That woman wears clothes like no one else.

I liked Florence Pugh even with the weird straps

Did you see what she wore to the Dune premiere.....?
Yes and only Zendaya could make it look classy. Can you imagine anyone else?
Good point PP about her looking slim but still fed. I am someone who actually finds a lot of people attractive - lots of types, lots of shapes, lots of ages, I'm just lucky that way I think. But truly, Zendaya hit the genetic lottery.
My husband didn't know who she was and immediately said 'talk about an eating disorder. This woman looks anorexic.'
