I have a friend that works at Cardozo and he said about 20 staff members will be leaving at the end the school year. Most of it is because of Mola not running the school properly, kids get to roam freely throughout the school and do not care if they get in trouble. Also, no accountability and holding staff more accountable than the students. They also lost some people during the winter time.

Dr Martin is in a cushy position. You get paid a lot of money to do nothing. And she wasn’t a good principal herself so what is she even going to do?

There are plenty of options to replace him with. Everyone is talking about the principal and not about his boss, Dr. Martin. If she sees Cardozo in a massive crisis and getting worse and worse every year and she does nothing, then she must not be right for her job either. Test scores are at a all time low. So what does Dr. Kimberly Martin have to say about this?

I’m not the tutor but I read her quote and I think your response is odd. You are misinterpreting what she wrote. She wasn’t disagreeing with you. She was negative as well.

For the tutor who says it not bad, you deal with a certain group kids everyday. Your classroom probably has 4 adults in there where most of us have 20-25 students with no assistance. Some teachers teach ELL, Exceptional students and mainstream All at once with no tutor! Please don’t base your 1 yr at Cardozo and negate those who have been here longer. All teachers won’t is someone who is supportive and not undermine everyone in the building!!

The teacher is still teaching at Adams, and the family has gotten a restraining order to protect their child, who is there but in another grade. My child was in the class where the teacher “massaged” their shoulders and backs while checking their work for no reason. A bunch of the kids complained. There was an investigation but the teacher is still there, so he must have agreed to training or something.


As far as I know, there was an investigation and BECAUSE OF IT the teacher is still there.

I am a parent at Oyster, and, while is true that admin never clarified what happened, I know there was a serious investigation and the police found nothing, so maybe is time to move on.


I hate to break it to you, but a showing of evidence is necessary to get a restraining order. There’s a big difference between the criminal proof standard and a teacher being cleared and a TRO tells us which direction one court leaned on the question…

No way! He needs to find another job away from kids education!
He could write books, and that way only the people that choose to suffer reading him would.

Absolutely! Please like Mr. Mola talk a good game but when it comes down to the nitty gritty, he’s nowhere to be found.

He worked at Bancroft ES before this and the parents love him there. Maybe he should consider returning. High school and and middle school are tough to run together let alone separately.



Some parents did. Some others didnt. Same with the staff.

Mola is all talk. He loves listening to himself. But at the same time, he talks much and says nothing!

Im definitely not a fan. I hope they kick him out soon.

I’m a tutor at Cardozo and it’s not awful, but it’s far from great. The Staff is nice and so are most of the kids.

They really just don’t like the principal or the way XQ is going. It could be way better if they made some drastic changes but I won’t be back next year to see them through.
