I think total body workouts suck. Sure, they're better than nothing, but really bad for getting stronger. Maybe you struggle because you do total body workouts?

I'm not the PP but just posted that I also run 6 days/week and do yoga or pilates. I run on the treadmill from 5-5:45/6am during the week and with friends for 2 hours on the weekend. I do yoga or pilates on my lunch break/while kids are in bed/while kids are at activities on the weekend. I work full time, DH is very supportive of my activities, and we have local grandparents and a nanny.
