I heard it in Rockville. Didn’t shake my house. But the oddest sound I’ve heard. Thought it was military jet or explosion.

Very legal and not uncommon for properties outside of a city. More uncommon in the DMV area.

I’m less than 10 minutes from the scene. We have Washington Gas service in our neighborhood, not sure about the house that exploded.

I absolutely felt it in Rockville. I was scouring the internet trying to figure out what it was. It woke my husband from a nap. I immediately checked the outside of my house thinking a tree limb had fallen on it.
