Might it be male factor? In our case DH had a varicocele. Once that was fixed and 6 months had passed we had better success with viable embryos.

I totally get how you feel. We're about the same age but I have DOR. I did 8 rounds of egg retrievals, 3 FETs. More details below. I was told by my RE that getting 1 normal at my age is good.

ER #1 - 1 blastocyst, PGT abnormal
ER #2 - 1 blastocyst, PGT normal. FET resulted in BPN
ER #3 - 3 blastocyst, 1 PGT normal. FET resulted in BFP and my baby
ER #4 - 7 - either no eggs, didn't fertilize or didn't make it to day 3
ER #8 - added HGH; 3 blastocyst (only 2 tested the last 1 was graded CC), 1 PGT normal. FET resulted in chemical

That's a lot. How do you guys do all this and work full time? It seems like a full time job by itself.

Just a follow up to this...
ER #9 - 2 eggs retrieved, 1 blastocyst but aneuploid
ER #10 - 1 egg retrieved which surprisingly fertilized and turned into a high grade blastocyst which turned into my now 1 year old =)

Yes it is a lot, working fulltime and with a toddler. But the good thing is I never had to worry about the financials - I pay out of pocket only for PGS testing.
I wanted to give up but felt that if I did, then all the ERs would be for nothing. It's always that mentally - maybe the next one will be it. My goal was to have 2 kids and I was going to do whatever it takes to achieve it. IVF was all I thought about for the last 5-6 years

Just adding to the chorus that it only takes one. I had similar stats. Many rounds with one or two normal followed by failed FET or chemical pregnancy. Final round at 40 had one normal but it had the lowest grade and doc said it was unlikely to result in pregnancy. She’s 9 now. Tried for a second at 42 and it didn’t work, but in grateful for my only!
