My boyfriend has to be easy. At the first sign that he is demanding, difficult, overly-vigilant or insecure, I wait until the he slows down to 2O mph. Then I open the car door and safely roll into a ditch. I always wear jeans and long sleeves. I’ve had two dates end this way. I never regret the walk home or my extra laundry that night.

I've heard the same thing from boyfriends. I wouldn't consider myself easygoing per se, but I am pretty agreeable when it comes to friends and dating. I like to do a wide range of things, I happily eat most things, and I get along with almost everyone. I'm pretty good at rolling with punches, and don't play games.

Thanks! My ex constantly told me /tells me I was/am “difficult” so I guess it really depends on the man/relationship.

Judging from your comments, I think he means it as a true compliment and is happy that the relationship is seamless. He just picked the wrong word. "Easy" would probably give me pause as well, particularly because men tended to walk all over me when I actually was a doormat back in the day. That doesn't sound like the case here at all though. I'd just let it go, but if he keeps complimenting you in this way, maybe direct him to a different word.

That is true. I am very attracted to him and have no sexual hang ups or body image issues. I communicate frankly about sexual likes/wants/needs/ preferences (mine and his) both in and out of bed. I have been told by him and others that this is unusual.

It means different things to different people. DH finds me low maintenance compared to his first wife. It’s just that I don’t wear makeup, have natural hair and nails, and don’t mind some dirty/sweaty pastimes. Meanwhile, I have major health issues and often can’t help around the house.

If you are 16 and he says you’re easy that’s a problem. But easy as a full blown adult is a compliment. Low maintenance, independent, capable and flexible. My husband would say I’m very easy and maybe age 16 easy as well.
