How things have changed! My DD is applying with significantly higher qualifications than I had and just praying she makes it.
Congrats!! She will love it there!Anonymous wrote:Accepted EA today, 1520 SAT, co-valedictorian perfect GPA and several strong extracurriculars. Unless she gets into an Ivy this spring, which is unlikely, she’s headed to Ann Arbor!
umm…at least 50% from the state of Michigan. And the Midwest has a calming effect on those from the toxic NE.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:DC: 3.95, 1580 from Big 3.
Astonishing that someone with these stats is bothering to apply to you of them. Others from the big three with such stats, almost surely end up at IV and other schools much higher ranked than Michigan.
Something seems fishy
You clearly don’t have the first clue at how saught after Michigan is-not just academically but also for amazing school spirit and the chance to have a life as well as working hard. You Ivy League snobs will never get it and that’s good because we don’t want your kind anyhow!!! People in the Midwest are kind-why many kids from the DMV want to escape this cesspool.
Dp, but almost everyone I know who attended Michigan is from NY or other parts of the Northeast.

My kid says they don’t reject EA. Mostly postpone. She was rejected in RD but it was a reach.
nope several from our private rejected🥲🥲. Great candidates but applying to Ross so there is that.
