Sorry, there are lots of us here who agree with the OP, and we understand that kindness does not equal freedom from discipline and accountability, and intelligence doesn't lead to the kind of outcomes that are experienced here. If you say "MOVE" to actual taxpayers who expect more from the government, you will end up like Portland. The rest of us need to make sure that we can sell our places before you drag us down with you.

The voters have spoken time and again about the leadership they want. Either do the work to mobilize those that don't vote, move, or try to make the best of it here. Stop reading the local news if that helps.

Folks in MoCo are a lot of things. Smart. Highly-educated. Hard workers. People with power. But they are NOT, for the most part, kind.


DMV and MoCo has one of strongest and most active nonprofit sectors in the country, which raise money for all sorts of charitable causes.
