The Democratic governor said on Face the Nation that there are "raw feelings" in her state about Israel's bombardment of Gaza and the 27,000 Palestinian casualties amid the Israel-Hamas war.
Michigan has roughly 300,000 Arab American residents, which makes the state particularly sensitive about the issue, she noted.

I think any convention will be similar to ‘68. Of the people I know who voted for Biden last time I think only one is planning on voting for him again. The anger at Biden over the Israel stuff is serious. It is weird seeing the disconnect from the party establishment types and the base. This is not going away and people are getting more pissed off each time Biden hugs Bibi and give them the finger.

Why not have democrats put up a guy worth getting out of bed to vote for? You come with the absolute laziest argument but want to shame others. We get what we deserve when voting (or not voting).
Why should the democrats give up the incumbency advantage and who would be polling better than Biden?
Anyone, practically anyone else would poll better than Biden.
Anonymous wrote:Lately there’s lots of talk about Gen Z not seeing the big picture about voting for the greater good (Democrats) due to their hang ups with a particular single voter issue, like the war in Gaza, for example.
Why can’t Gen Z see the big picture? Are you all just crazy not to see the wall we are about to hit if Trump gets in again? He’s a dictator and a criminal. How on earth can you all stay on the sidelines and say you aren’t going to vote in the upcoming election because of X, Y, or Z? How can you dare not vote and basically hand the presidential election to Trump, which is what he’s counting on…your apathy and confusion….because you actually think he’s a better candidate and forget everything else he stands for or has done to disrupt peace, including the insurrection?

Anyone except… Kamala. The designated #2.

And Biden has delivered as much as he can on Student loans and housing and a federal government can under currently law. He can't do too much more on guns without changing the composition of the congress.
He’s President for four years and he did “as much as he can” in three? Maybe he needs to try harder?

I can't imagine that being able to have an abortion is your priority.
And that’s why you’re destined to lose on it. You don’t understand that an unwanted pregnancy is a crossroads, and when a wanted abortion is denied women lose out in education, security, safety, independence and their existing children do, too. It’s called the Turnaway Study, go look it up.
You should consider lifestyle changes that would limit the chance of an unwanted pregnancy. Many of us did and have not lost out on any of the things you listed.
