After attending Eras where the sound quality was impeccable (at least in Philly) with no feedback or scratchy speaker sounds whatsoever, I have to agree that Madonna’s sound quality last night was kind of meh. At times it sounded like she was shouting into the mic and other times the base was so loud that it overpowered her voice. Was kind of surprised that someone of her caliber doesn’t have a more a sophisticated sound system, but again, I now compare everything to Eras and TS has basically ruined all concerts for me moving forward bc nothing can top that.

The lights were mostly strobing and I had to keep my eyes closed. I had to plug my ears because the bass was way too loud. She didn't dance. Her guitar skills are elementary at best. Her voice was off key several times. I just don't get it. The show is sensory overload. all this stuff gets thrown at you, but none of it is very well done. It started more than two hours late. It was a health hazard with the high temperatures- massive germ incubator. I went becuase I had a free ticket, but wow it was pretty bad.

Does she not get that transportation has a curfew in this city? This screws everyone who didn't Uber.
Transportation is ideal in DC. It cannot be improved.

She did go on late and was unapologetic about it as is typical with Madonna, but she's worth the wait. She did not disappoint. We left at 1am just before the show ended so we wouldn't get stuck getting out of the garage, but honestly don' t love the last two songs so I don't think you're missing much if you go and sneak out a few minutes early.
Ray of Light hands down was one of the most mesmerizing concert productions I have seen outside of Eras. If you love Madonna then go! She is not slowing down and was on point the entire night.

Madonna said that she goes to bed every night at 4am. I guess she sleeps all morning.
Interesting routine. Some people are night owls.

dang two hours late again??
I’ll come back and post when she starts.
