The “exceptions” are never clear. Pregnancy is complicated. This is why many advocate for no limits. Not because any woman is deciding to abort a healthy wanted child at 8 months. THAT DOESNT HAPPEN. What happens is complications that no one could imagine.

This is absolute insanity

I feel terrible for this poor victim. But should she be denied her abortion, or it gets delayed to the point that she loses her fertility or worse, then this case can be taken out of Texas state courts and put into the federal district courts and make their way up to the Supremes. If she loses her fertility or worse, then the case can be made that the Texas law and similar laws are unconstitutional because of the harm that they do to the victims. Texas claims that there are medical exceptions. This is proving that they won't honor those medical exceptions and that the law is a violation of her right to life. I think that should she suffer harm from this law that she can contend that the law is unconstitutional and violates the 14th amendment.

So, while I am hopeful that she gets her abortion, should she suffer tragedy, there may be some good that can come out of this if the law can be deemed unconstitutional.

Surprise, surprise, the Texas Supreme Court confirms what we've known all along.
It has nothing to do with LIFE.
It's all about controlling women's bodies.
