No, men tolerate a pain in the ass if she is in the right place on the hot vs. crazy graph.
Right. So evidently they must find short women a lot hotter since I see them acting a lot "crazier"

I came here to post the same thing. Clothes look better on tall frames. I'm 5'6 and have never wanted to be shorter. If anything, I would like to be 2-3 inches taller.
I'm 5'6" and I agree that I've never, ever wanted to be shorter, and when in heels I feel perfect (though I do end up chatting more with men than women at heeled events, maybe related to height.) I do think my friends are are extremely tall (5'10" and taller) had a harder time finding mates.
Completely opposite - I'm 5'1" and never felt an ounce of envy for taller women even though I'm apparently squatty, inelegant, and look bad in clothes![]()

It used to intimidate me when I’m at work and most men are a full foot taller, but I’m used to it now. I absolutely love being short.
I will say that it’s hard to be thin, but even harder to be a thin petite woman. I have to be at a much lower weight to be thin, but I’d really like to eat as much as everyone else.
You can be perfectly elegant as a short woman. It’s just a bit harder because elegance is typically associated with being slim and the shorter you are the more difficult that can be. But it’s totally possible depending on your style.
Elegance is nearly exclusive for the tall, as is regal. I've never seen a short regal man or woman.

Short people have correspondingly shorter, rounder faces, which gives a neotenous (youthful) vibe. Neoteny is considered sexually attractive in women, but not so attractive in men. This is probably one of the major reasons (along with sexual dimorphism) why so many men seem to go for short women
People associate size with status/power.
So people will subconscious expect the taller person in any relationship to be more assertive / leader / dominant.
So a taller person might need to be more assertive to overcome the other person's increased inhibitions against acting toward you.

Exactly. I think this is more common OP.
Tall men don’t want to take the chance that they’ll end up with a short son.
As a tall woman, I’ve had strangers (usually at bars and slightly intoxicated) and men I’ve been on dates with make inappropriate comments about wanting to breed with me. It’s pretty gross, they want you to give them children that will be athletic and tall.
I have had several male friends confide to me that they are looking for tall wives in order to have tall children. At the time, I found it surprising but now understand that height is very important for men.
