Subject: I get so paranoid about not getting Christmas party invites
Time to have a party!
We don’t get too many invites, but throw a party every few years. It’s a nice way to get to see neighbors and friends. That being said, we can’t invite everyone! Seriously, our home is 1400 sq feet. But if someone was inviting us to their party I would absolutely add them to our party list. (I don’t love throwing parties either, but you can’t just expect to get an invites either).

Get a grip. So unless you can host 1,000 people, you just don't have the party? Sometimes you get invited to things and sometimes you don't. No big deal

Found the mean girl! She likes to have parties at her home where she invites a good group of friends, but purposefully doesn’t invite one or two members of that group of friends. And then makes sure they know they aren’t invited.

Seriously? I’m on the other end! I’m a business owner and I go all out on a holiday party for clients and friends ( it’s a really nice event based on all the feedback we’ve gotten) and I feel I almost have to beg guests to RSVP!

If OP attends a private religious school, then they may well be Christmas parties.
If the host says its a Christmas party, then it is. Regardless of the religion of any particular invitee. I'm a Christian who was invited to (and attended) a Diwali party. I assure you I was not offended in the least, in fact I was honored.
Sigh.
For the umpteenth time, its not a Diwali party its a FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS PARTY!!!!!

If OP attends a private religious school, then they may well be Christmas parties.
If the host says its a Christmas party, then it is. Regardless of the religion of any particular invitee. I'm a Christian who was invited to (and attended) a Diwali party. I assure you I was not offended in the least, in fact I was honored.
Well good thing the PP wasn’t invited, she’d have had to scream the host down about how they should be celebrating “holiday” because celebrating Diwali is rude.
