It's bizarre to me that people think putting women in charge will somehow change human nature. Women are people too and while they may be less likely to be abusers, they are no better at rooting out abusers than men are.
Also, women make up the majority of users on dcum yet everyone assumes that posters on this forum are male. Happened to a pp once and has happened to me repeatedly as well where someone explains I think xyz because I'm a man (I'm not). That alone tells you that there's a certain misogyny to people's belief that women leaders, being the fairer sex, would concern themselves all day with promoting kindness and love. Newsflash: we don't.
