To me you need to earn the title, like a fine wine. Tons of men at 25 are hot. But how many in their 50s are still as hot as that (and if you don’t think salt and pepper hair can be hot, you have no taste). Plus how many haven’t been me-too’d or shown us they’re real jerks (talking to you, Mel Gibson). Patrick earned his laurels.

Dempsey is handsome and definitely good enough for sexiest million men alive in 2023 North America but not sexiest man alive quality but to be fair, very few picks of that title are.
