I worked in a record store in the 1980s, and we kept our cassettes behind plexiglass. It's just what you do in a high-crime area (and we even had a security guard in the store at all times).

Hardly an indication of the downfall of social values. (Unless you consider the plight of people needing to steal TP.)

Some people have never been taught that stealing is wrong. They try to justify theft and crime at every turn. There are many families who live in poverty but still teach their children right from wrong.

Stop demonizing teenagers. I’ve posted this before, but Tenley Target employees told me that big theft rings are responsible for stealing bottles of detergent to sell on the black market, not bored teenagers. Do you really think teens are stealing paper towels?
Who did drug rings employ to peddle drugs on the street back when they were criminalized? I wonder who big theft rings employ?

LOL CVS pharmacies literally mint money. The retail part of the store is a loss leader to get you into the store to fill your prescriptions at the pharmacy. CVS makes all its money at the pharmacy window.
That's obviously not true. If CVS was making a lot of money, its stock price would go up. That's what happens when companies make lots of money. But CVS's stock price is lower today than it was 10 years ago.

How would all the unlicensed vendors sell their goods without these teenagers supplying them? Maybe you should consider the impact on this disadvantaged group.
